These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Parento App (the "App") and any related services, features, content, and software (together, the "Service").
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

3.1 Adult account only. The parent/guardian account must be created and used only by an adult (18+).
3.2 Authorized use only. The Service is intended for a parent or legal guardian to manage a child's device and profile. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you:
3.3 Notice and consent responsibility. You are responsible for providing any required notices and obtaining any required consents from the child, other users of the device, or third parties as required by local law.
4.1 Account creation. You must create a parent account to use the Service. You must provide accurate information and keep it updated.
4.2 Child profiles. Child profiles are created and managed by the parent account. A child does not create an independent parent account.
4.3 Linking. Parental features require linking the child device/app to the parent account using the in-app linking process (e.g., code/QR/link). You are responsible for keeping linking details secure and preventing unauthorized linking.
4.4 Account security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all actions performed under your account.
Parento provides parental control and child safety tools. Depending on your plan, device compatibility, operating system, permissions, and settings enabled by the parent, features may include:
No guarantee of full compatibility. Some features may not work on all devices or operating system versions due to manufacturer limitations, OS restrictions, app/browser limitations, network conditions, or permissions. We do not guarantee that every feature will function in every environment.
Some features require device permissions (e.g., location, usage access, accessibility services, VPN permission, notifications). If you deny or revoke permissions, parts of the Service may not function properly.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or applicable law.
8.1 No 100% guarantee. Web filtering and VPN-based protection reduce risk but cannot guarantee that all harmful, inappropriate, or blocked content will be blocked at all times.
8.2 Technical limitations. Filtering may be limited by encryption, app-specific protocols, operating system restrictions, DNS/DoH settings, browser behavior, VPN conflicts, captive portals, network restrictions, or third-party service changes.
8.3 Your responsibility. You remain responsible for supervising your child and configuring settings appropriately.
Location depends on GPS, network coverage, device sensors, permissions, and power/battery settings. Location may be inaccurate, delayed, or unavailable. Do not rely on the Service for emergency response or life-critical situations.
If SOS and related permissions are enabled, the child device may capture and transmit short-term ambient audio during SOS for safety awareness. Availability depends on device, OS permissions, and network conditions.
If the Service offers voice/video communication via WebRTC:
Connection quality depends on network conditions and device capabilities.
12.1 Store billing. Paid features may require a subscription or in-app purchase. Billing is handled by Apple (App Store) and/or Google (Google Play). Your purchase and subscription are also subject to the relevant store's terms and policies.
12.2 Auto-renewal. Subscriptions may auto-renew unless canceled through the relevant app store settings before the renewal date.
12.3 Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple/Google under their refund policies and store rules. We cannot issue store refunds directly where the store controls billing.
12.4 Trials and promotions. Trials or promotional offers (if any) are governed by the terms shown at sign-up and applicable store rules.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
14.1 History retention defaults.
14.2 Parent-only visibility. Location history and web/YouTube history are visible only to the connected parent account.
14.3 Deletion by parent. Parents can delete location history and web/YouTube history at any time in the App. Parents can also delete the parent account (and associated child profiles) in the App, which removes stored parent and child profile data (subject to legal requirements and limited backup retention).
14.4 Backups. After deletion, residual copies may remain in technical backups for a limited time until overwritten under normal backup rotation, unless retention is required by law.
The Service, including the App, software, designs, trademarks, logos, and all related intellectual property rights, is owned by Softexpoit Pvt. Limited or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.
We may update the App and modify, add, or remove features to improve security, performance, compliance, or user experience, or to prevent misuse. We do not guarantee continued availability of any specific feature.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately if:
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account through the App.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Softexpoit Pvt. Limited is not liable for:

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim (or £10 if you paid nothing), unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Softexpoit Pvt. Limited from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from:
including claims related to monitoring a device without proper authority or required consent.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law rules.
Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the App or by other reasonable means. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
